GfK Household Panel

The GfK Household Panel offers an excellent basis for both continual and occasional analysis of target groups as well as the information seeking- and purchasing-behaviour for consumer goods.

The GfK Household Panel has representative samples from 2,000 - 20,000 households in respective countries.

These household Panels are exceptionally suited to uncovering the entire situation of the households whereby head of the households gives information about the purchases made by the people in the household, for example regarding the household equipment, planned purchases etc.

Around 108,000 households in the whole of Europe report on their purchases of consumer goods, such as furniture sanitary products, electrical equipment, white goods etc every day.

Currently, the Panel participants mainly report in writing, meaning they receive a purchasing diary and surveys through the mail and send these back on a monthly basis. For special studies the Panel participants can be contacted outside the monthly cycle. This is possible by phone or internet. The Panel can also be split into representative samples in the same structure to enable the small sample size and wave analysis.
